Several years ago I tried to buy an upgrade from FPD 2.5 to 2.6 from M$, and their response was that it was possible but I had to first upgrade to VFP (current version), then downgrade to FPD 2.6. The translation was that I would end up paying hundreds of dollars for a small DOS upgrade, which was ludicrous to the point of being comical. You can check Ebay, as DOS versions pop up there from time to time, but the sources I've seen on the Web ask a fortune for legal disks. If you ever figure out how to get FPD working on a Windows CE-based PDA, I'd like to know. I tried loading PocketDOS once, but FPD wouldn't work either with FOXPRO.EXE or FOXPROX.EXE.

FoxPro 2.5b comes in two versions (with different help files) - DOS (in.DBF &.FPT format) and Windows (in.HLP format). Because these versions were last updated 8 1/2 years ago, there is no one that I am aware of still offering any training materials. You might want to check on eBay to see if anyone is 'claening out their closet'. You want to also consider buying a 'new' copy, either on eBay or try.
