I have Windows Vista, 4GB RAM, 70GB Memory and am currently using 20% of the memory. Can someone translate what the problem is? Best Answer: It's not your RAM that is the issue, it's hard drive space. I use an older pc and only had around 7 GB of free hard drive space, which I thought was enough since the patch was only around 5 GB. After three failed attempts, I found a solution on the WoW forums.
The new patch copies EVERYTHING in the current World of Warcraft folder on your computer to a new folder, which means you actually need over 20 GB of hard drive space to complete the patch. If you cannot free that much, the blue poster said to delete WoW and reinstall the new client from the battle.net site, which should update you to 4.01, needing less space to do so. Unfortunately, my download is not finished yet so I cannot verify if it worked for me. Tell us some more. Upload in Progress. Upload failed. Please upload a file larger than 100x100 pixels.

Post by faia Hi there I not tested with 4.0.1 but as from 1.0-3.3 version I have many times when needed to reinstal just copy paste the folders from one computer to another with no problem, it go rather fast if you have a external hardisk compare to patch it manual (if you atleast got USB 2, if you got USB 3 it fast and furious) can also move little and little if you not got a 30 GB storage device liek just the data folder ect only the patch data? Yes, you can but is the version 3.3.0-3.3.5? If it is you can just move the patch file (probley in the wow folder).
